Going on a cruise adventure is in every traveller’s bucket list. This is usually 5 to 7 days long with several stops along the way. There are different cruise packages for different places. Asian tours for example, normally include five cities. The cruise works by taking you to these different locations and allowing you to get off and spend the day touring each city. Sometimes, there’s an extra day to enjoy the beach or all the amenities of the ship.
The wonderful thing about cruise vacations is that it offers a different experience. People who are tired of hotels find staying at a cruise ship refreshing and a novelty. There’s something about sailing that excites travellers, much like the explorers of antiquity. The ship itself is also a marvel or technology and luxury. Unlike travelling and staying at a hotel, the food is included in the cruise ship package. You won’t have to worry about where to get your meals or wonder if the food is sanitary. The ship has its own team of chefs and there also gyms, cafes, libraries and spas.
If a cruise vacation sounds appealing to you, know that it can cost a lot especially if you’re travelling with your entire family. This means that you must know how to save up for your dream vacation well ahead of time.
Saving can entail some sacrifices on your part. It could mean cutting back on your Starbucks for a few times each month in order to add to your travel fund. Some people decide to take the bus for a few weeks in order to save on gas and parking. These may be small things but you’ll be surprised how much these can help you.
This infographic was prepared to help travellers think of creative ways to save up and travel. Remember that travel enriches the soul and the mind too. Don’t scrimp on vacation plans!
Agree with #3. Announcing your plans seems like to encourage or force you more to save, cos if you failed to make it happen, you’ll be a bit embarrassed to everyone who knows.
